Segundo Mercado Llorens disproves US Senate's information

By Aleksander Boyd

London 12 Oct. 04 - It certainly surprises me how quick the lobbyists of the regime respond when their 'integrity and honour' is at stake. This morning I posted an article containing information, readily available in the public domain courtesy of the US Senate, about the fillings reported in accord to the Lobbying Disclosure Act of 1995 by Segundo Mercado Llorens. What follows is an exchange of emails.

Mr. Boyd,

Your column about me says that I have received $124,000. That information is regrettably categorically false. I wish, indeed, I had received such funds. Of course, I might send your column to my sister to show her what a success I am. But, besides that bit of usefulness, it is probably better for your readers that you make a minimum effort to get your facts straight. If in fact you do find a checks meant for me totalling $124,000, I would hope you would forward them to me. Thanks! Keep the innaccuracies to a minimum. Be Well, Segundo.

Dear Mr Mercado Llorens,

It certainly pleases me that you keep track of my writings, so do very many other people and all the search engines of the web. I would advice you to take not issue with me; I am just reporting what you yourself filled to the corresponding office of the US Senate. Should the information contained in their site be inaccurate it's only you to blame I'm afraid.

Why would you provide false and incorrect information to the US Senate via the Lobbying Disclosure Act of 1995 Mr Mercado Llorens? Please forward me your views in that regard.

Cordially, Aleksander Boyd

Alas, Alexander: Please read the report again, I have never filed anything that had $100,000 on it. All my reports are handwritten, perhaps the senate clerk made a mistake in tyiping it. But, as a former monk, I can only tell you the truth. It is better if you not assume it was my mistake. You should assume that I am a truth teller. Perhaps you should corroborate before you write this stuff. I just called my sister, and told her I was making all this money according to you. What a joke. Again, if you have the check, I will gladly accept it. I can tell you the information you have is simply false. I rest on the truth. I hope you have something to rest on as well. In the Sacred Heart of Christ,

Segundo

Quite comical your response Segundo. Perhaps you have to take the issue with the Venezuela Information Office then or even with Bernardo Alvarez Herrera. The onus is on you, not on me for I am only referring to records in the public domain. Isn't that what you and über investigator Eva Golinger are doing with the NED? Follow the links Segundo, the truth is just one click away!!

Many blessings to you Alex. May your day be laced with grace. In Christ,

Segundo

Note added

Section 11 of the Lobbying Disclosure Act Guidance states:

"Whoever knowingly fails: (1) to correct a defective filing within 60 days after notice of such a defect by the Secretary of the Senate or the Clerk of the House; or (2) to comply with any other provision of the Act, may be subject to a civil fine of not more than $50,000."

Should that be the case, one can only wish for the competent authority to fine Mercado Llorens exemplarily so that next time round he does things properly. What strikes me about these people is that they will just deny everything even when caught red handed, unbelievable!! Attention Sumate directors reading this site: just argue that the NED payments are a “typing mistake of the clerk” and the whole world is going to believe you!! Isn’t that correct Segundo? And the nerve of calling yourself a truth teller whilst on Chavez' payroll in Washington? Give me a fucking brake "former monk"! (Being such a spiritual person, likeminded godly souls can send messages to Segundo at llorens@worldnet.att.net).
